dB Drag/ Bassrace stereo competition July 26 Calgary

This is not final yet but figured i would post this up to give a few people interested a heads up that it is coming.
This will be the first of 2 shows i am doing this year the second will be early sept and a multi point, with alot of kick ass stuff to win, and one of a kind trophies.

I will be doing trophies at this show in specific classes and a few fun trophies such as the quietest guy, ugly car, and most rattles haha. As well i will work on getting a few raffle items for this first show. I know last year the guy who won the DC sub was pretty pumped about it.

How does it look to get people out to this one? Same location as last year.

Info:

July 26, 10am registration, 11am qualifying.
Location is Grand Car Audio, 1725 - 32nd ave NE, Calgary.
Entry fee is $30 for both dB drag and Bassrace. Trophies for most popular classes will be offered.

I will be doing as last year and raffling off a DC lv3 12" sub. Every competitor gets 1 free ticket with entrance fee, additional tickets can be bought. On top of that i will offer for in addition to the Dc sub a set of Macrom 6" M2 coaxial speakers for a second draw. These are the same speakers i use in my Jimbo truck.

I will be making up a poster with all the details soon. Thank you and i hope to see some of you there.

Glad to here. You have to remember there are 15 classes to compete in meaning you will be placed into the proper class with people with similar systems. And with the Bassrace format it is not who is the loudest that wins but who has the best control over their system.

If anyone is interested in some light reading check out the rules for dB Drag and Bassrace. It will give you a idea how everything is set up. Lots of potential for the win!

Look at the links Graham. There is a class matrix that gives you a easy and quick break down on classes.
I know with your car if you are still using the 6.5" subs you will fall under Street Stock.

This show is less then a week away. On top of the SPL show i may have a short motorcycle stunt show going on right after we finish qualifying. A buddy said he would bring his bike out and lay it down for us.

Yes it was a very fun show. Lots of new comers, and some real nice looking cars/ installs. It was also a very loud show on top of it all with 15 cars entered in competition.

I will work on getting vids up in the next little while. Very busy with work, but you will want to see the Dr. Pepper chug it was awesome to see the faces after it was over. hahhaa And we did some killer demos for everyone after the show.
