Default FS: red/burgundy 1993 BMW 325i 4 door - Looking for quick Sale!

    Vehicle Details

    Year : 1993
Make and Model : BMW 325i 4 door
    Exterior Color : Burgundy
    Interior Color : Black/Dark Grey
Auto or Manual? : 5 Spd. Manual
    Odometer Reading : 258,500kms
    Location of Vehicle : Calgary
    Description :

Heated Seats, power windows, ABS, defrost on mirrors, power steering, sunroof, etc.

I've had this bimmer for over a year now. I replaced the battery last year as well as put on a new set of shocks.

The car has always been a Calgary car. The frame is clean and straight with no major accidents. For the price I'm asking, I still want to keep it and throw in a M3 drivetrain but I have 5 cars due to some recent purchases so the wife really wants it gone ASAP (also have mini for sale). At any rate, the last owner had it, gave it to his mom, then I bought it from her. I believe he had it serviced at Calgary BMW, although I never pulled the records.

I painted the bumpers to match the rest of the car last year (instead of two tone). The bottom skirts under the front fenders had some rock chips that started rust at some point. The rest of the bottom skirts and car is pretty rust free.

I put in DINAN stage 1 chip. I bought it off a bimmerforum member, not ebay.

Car is surprisingly quick (I'd estimate repeatable 15s 1/4 mile)... motor is still very solid. I would only rate the transmission as 'ok' (shifts fine at WOT, but has felt little notchy since I bought it).

single VANOS and has eeprom that can easily be edited (another reason it could make a good project car).

This car drove the best of the ones even in the $6000 price range when I bought it.

Interior has some flaws (PO had large speakers cut in), back seat has some scuffs in it, radio wasn't working and has been removed. A/C not blowing cool, haven't diagnosed cause as it was supposed to be my winter vehicle.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Forgot about a few things. Car has winters on it right now, but I have 4 other tires (no rims) with good rubber that are included.

Also, I bought new control arm poly bushings when I was doing the shocks, but I never put them on. Included as spare part.

Spare ECU is included as I was going to play with eeprom if I did an M3 swap with turbo, etc..

Don't be afraid of all of my comments. I'm just trying to be up front as I can. i.e. I expect the transmission to continue living for years to come , however the trans doesn't feel like there is another 10 years in it to me.

The a/c compressor does kick in, and I don't see any major problems so I would assume a simple recharge would get it by.

Car drives great, I would just get in and drive it!

The price has already been adjusted for the flaws. Not entertaining low ball offers as my wife will let me keep it around for winter use if a reasonable offer doesn't come.

No reasonable offers and since I'm going to need something reliable to drive while a project goes underway... will post for sale at a later time.
