Default brake lamp light failure ticket

Alright so I am on my way home heading from saddleridge (extreme northeast) all the way down 52nd to marlborough where I was hoping to make sure I was home in time before my curfew (11pm). To my shitty luck cops begin following me from 64ave, and continue to do so up until where the leisure centre is. This is when they decide to give me a ticket for brake lamp light failure. I was absolutely shocked! Earlier I remember taking a look at my tail lights and I saw that they were working perfectly, AND right when I got home (2 mins later) I checked again and they were still working fine. So not only do I get a ticket for absolute bullshiet but getting pulled over also put me past my curfew hours.

I sure hope I don't have to pay for such a ticket, since it was obvious they just needed a stupid reason to fuck me over. This is ridiculous.

If I was in that situation where I knew it was working I would have called him on it right there and then.

    This.

The only way for you to "notice" your brake lights working, is if your stepping on the brake, and have someone looking, or are backed up close enough to a wall that you can see ALL your brake lamps lighting up (which can be difficult to tell if only 1 of 6 (or however many you have) is out.

It also could be a wiring issue, that makes the brake lamp intermittent, which would also be a valid ticket.

Well at least we can all thank CPS for keeping us safe

From what I get is he has a curfew from previous legal problems where he has to be home during evening hours and CPS knowing that is harassing him as per their usual style despite him just trying to get home.

If I am even close to whats going on, call your lawyer.

Normal GDL doesn't have that rule, its only valid if you have a learners.

I have been seeing a LOT, I mean, at least two every week, of car's with NO brake lights. Only the third brake light. I tell them and they seem like they know about it, but just don't care.

Once your car gets marked by the cops or your name is known when they pull your plate, you're pretty much done. They'll pull you over for anything they want which is fine to me. My advice is get a new car or a new plate. Or a new name, whatever's easier.

If I had a ticket book, it would be empty. 1 light out fine, but so many idiots are running with 2/3 out! Fine those bitches!
