What's stripped? The threads or the screw head?

If it's the screw head, ou need to go to Sears and buy a Craftsman tool that can remove it. It looks like a drill bit. They also have a tool that can remove a stripped nut or bolt.

If it's the treads, get a tap and die set. Better yet, replace the dammned terminals.

You can also buy the damages screw removers at crappy tire
They worked for me, just make sure u use a vise grip to turn the screw remover, normal plyers slip

    * this should work....Get new positive/negitive clamps, and cut the old, stripped ones off at the wire.

i had that problem and i hammered a bigger allan wrench in then held it in place while i turned the screw on the other side of the terminal. i used a pair of pliars to turn that. Worked like a charm...also if there's a nut on the other end just loosen that and you'll be fine
