    Default Snap Ring Pliers

    Hey Guys,

I am doing work on my truck and there is a snap ring that is really hard to get off. I have crappy no name snap ring pliers that are convertible to different tips. I am thinking something like snap on offers would be more effective. Any ides where I can something that has a fixed tip ( not changeable) and is a good tool in calgary?

Mac has the best by far, they are super strong and work well on any make. No idea how a non-mechanic would go about buying one, but I'm sure if you get a dealers name you could find a way.

The Mac and Snap-On guys will sell to anybody willing to pay for it, haha. Give them a call, they'll shoot you the name of the closest rep.

    Phone: 1-800-MAC-TOOLS (622-8665)

Ask for a local rep, they'll pass on the info.

thanks i tried calling snap on and couldnt find anything in the call tree, same thing for Mac but when asking for customer service i found someone who told me to call Dan Dyck. But this was after she called Calgary's regional manager.

I bought some snap ring pliers at princess auto a few years ago. They are individual, not thoes interchange pos ones.

For the amount of times i have used them, they were cheap and work good

snap ring pliers are something that you notice quality if your working with heavy snap rings, and notched rings instead of the punched ends.

When I was in calgary I always dealt with Dan Dyck, I actually probably fed his family for a month haha.
