You have proven to be quite prescient, so I'm tempted.
What about them makes you think they will rise above where they've been languishing for the last bit?

So whats the new pick of the week?
SGP?
I just took some cash out of JNN as it broke through another 52 week high today.
What do you think of Rol.a right now as a longer term investment?
I'd like to move into a couple stocks to hold for the long term.

Any political concerns for Sienna? What would happen if the government takes everything over like Bolivia did with it's oil and gas?

Man rol-a is tanking the last couple days...
Anyways, Zedi posted another record quarter yesterday and the stock closed up near .15 from previous close to about 1.60. They are a well services company that can improve operating efficiency for natural gas producers. They also have a good analyst opinion and a moderately strong buy on yahoo and have proved they are not a little flash in the pan like some of these mining companies. I believe it will be a great stock for a long term hold. Price target of 1.80. No debt. Strong financials this quarter. Excellent growth pick IMO.
Do your homework.

sry for trying to make it seem like im gonna hijack this thread.
but i have a question.
I talked to my dad and he agreed to give me a grand to spend on the stock exchange. preferrably the TSX. NASDAQ seems to volatile. anyways, i was wondering, how do you really start out in investing? like what are the procedures that you need to take to start investing immediately? and the places/forms that i need to go to and do? thx to anyone who helps!

find an online brokerage, either through your bank or through a 3rd party brokerage.. then you're off to the races.Originally posted by urbannomad

if you go through your bank, just make an appointment with a personal banker.. takes like 15 minutes to fill all the forms and you're done.
you know something the rest of us dont know...or you just saying its going up cuz it went up 2cents?Originally posted by CanadianBoy69

So I just logged on to TD for the first time since I bought SGP (Mar 20th).
What gives?22-Mar-2006 . 0 . INACTIVITY FEE . FEE . $0.00 . -$15.00
^^ looks like you have a credit on your account of $15?
If you get onlne statement through waterhouse they will wave the inactivity fee. I had an account setup for like 2 years and did not pay a cent because of the online statement option. You should give them a call and see what they can do for you.Originally posted by /////AMG

anyone purchase RSC.V when I mentioned it two weeks ago? You would've made 70% return on it if you sold today.
so... any more stock picks out there?
