    Both are good for that with their hoses and attachments. I actually find Bissell's easier to use in terms of the attachments. The Dyson seems to be a little fussier? Truthfully, the Bissell is a little clogged right now, it doesn't have the suction it used to so I haven't used it in months. And I probably feel the need to justify the price difference of the Dyson.

    A friend ended up getting the Healthy Home a year or so ago, and she's got a big dog who sheds everywhere. As far as I know, they still love it.

    It almost looks like any of these bagless / cyclone designs work quite well.

    Love my Bissel Healthy Home. Makes wicked power and takes everything I throw at it. Even use it as a shop vac. Lots of things going in that vac it was probably never designed for. Never an issue.
