hmm, I don't have 03 on my computer, probably because my video card is too weak for it (GeForce4 Ti 4200)

I get around the same on a GF FX 5200, mebbe around 8200 on 01, and 1400ish on 03.

The GeForceFX 5200 is whats killing you. The GPU is a weak entry level one. Even an 8500LE would walk all over it!
