Probably... but multiplayer is where all Battlefield games REALLY shine. It is probably one of the closer simulations to any real war game that doesn't make you want to tear out your hair cause a random bullet killed you... fucking ghost recon games lol. No 1 man can do everything alone, the entire team needs to work together. Even if you are playing with 2 buddies who have voice chat, you can change the entire battle.

It's their pirate protection, you still need the disc even if you install it on the HD. My disc is the same way, sometimes I need to eject, turn the disc, then put it back in (just MW2 though, so I think it's the disc itself)

i should've brought my laptop to work to dload it, i have to wait till i get home then sit with all the other suckers for the after work steam dload rush, how is the dload rate? shitty?

my coworker got his hardcopy from EA on his doorstep yesterday after work, fuuuuuuu i should've done that, from what he's told me he's impressed/satisfied with MP, jungle map has crazy amount of foliage, coming from a hardcore BF2 player, i believe him.

hope to squad up with some of you later on on PC MP!


and regarding the SP, this is actually a first for this series, first i mean that they actually have a supposed 'good' SP storyline cause the first BC SP sucked IMO and the rest of BF series game SP mode was basically non-existant, BF has always been about MP as said, its the new experiences and things that you see and take part of every time you get online that make BF what is it.

Audio was my fav part of the first. I have BC 1 for xbox and with my surround turned up... it's fricken unreal

there was no preload at all, or do you mean just dloading on a whole?, if its saying errors like 'try again in a few minutes' the servers are too busy as usual for any more popular game release on steam, totally normal bs , you just have to keep clicking install install install until it connects. sometimes you have to restart steam cause its cracked out like that.

The convenience of sitting on your ass and buying a video game has its drawbacks i guess.

wow.... this is the WORST battlefield I have ever fucking played... what a way to ruin a great FPS..... its like its been dumbed down for little fucking kids.....

- The lag is horrid....
- Gameplay is plain bad
- I guess you can shoot 10 bullets into people nowadays and their still running around you like a buncha fucking clowns
- interaction is terrible
- tanks barly do damage...
- interface is just bad
- the helicopters are fucking pathetic... NOTHING like bf2.... nothing. I might return my copy.

and I'm running a really high end quad core comp...

^Did you happen to jump into a european server or a N/A server? seattle and sanjose servers seemed to be the best during the beta

did you participate for the beta as well and have any issues? quad core alone doesnt mean its the greatest btw.., update your GPU drivers to latest?

ya, I mean download, not pre-load, usually with valve games you can pre-load it before it goes live.

maybe you have a driver issue
