well its definetely too the point, but the point could have been emphasised more. Its definetely playing to thier demographic. Older folks who want a muscle car and that feeling of being young again. Ford has its own 'hot hatch' type vehicle in the svt focus.

so in terms of the advertising, its effective and will be a good campain, but i will not buy one because of this add. but then again they dont care cause im (we) arnt the demographic.

actually i'd like to see an analysis of their demographics before i'd be so fast to say that "we aren't their demographics"...

granted a large majority who would buy this car to be a lot older, i think they probably did allow a segment for younger adults who want a nice and fast car too: Young male, 23-30, single, rent an apartment or mortgaging the first home...
the reason i think this is because the focus doesn't have the same image as the mustang in terms of drawing in people to become brand loyal to ford. i could be wrong, but i think i'm fairly on track when i say that.

    i love the ad.
    creative i must say. creative

why would Ford pick on Honda of all companies to show off their new "muscle" car...as far as I know Honda doesn't have anything that would be in the same category as a V8 hatch? They should have used a chevy emblem, if its not a chop of course.

its not a real ad because its a picture of their concept car... which will only resemble the production model

You are right though, Honda doesn't have any cars in the same category. I think it might be aimed at the ricers.

If I made the stupidest question/statement, just keep in mind, before flaming me, that I'm just stupid in the area of cars.
