I'm getting mine a coffee percolator so she can make me better coffee. Also anything that will help her out making those apple pies a bit faster.

if you guys drink coffee first thing in the morning, you can get one of those solo cup espresso/latte machines that starbucks sell. Or how about something to make her daily life easier. You said you have kids so maybe some kind of house cleaning utility like a Dyson would be good as well. I would suggest against those rubber floor mats that somebody posted here as they're a big pain in the ass to clean.

Thanks for the ideas guys, keep'em coming. To answer a few questions:

    1) This thread was originally to ask what you guys are getting your women...thought it might help everyone to throw some ideas around.

    2) Budget is about $100. We don't like to go overboard, and unlike most of the other beyonders, I'm not a millionaire...yet.

best thing I got was a photo book my husband put together of us right up to when we had kids. Seriously 20 pages of happy tears.

ASK her what she wants...my husband gets mad when I ask for appliances...but sometimes it's honestly what I want.

All the things that you want, wrapped in a present with her name on it.

LOL, once you have been with your wife long enough, they really don't care, in fact they prefer it.

well, I can't be with a wife (although sometimes it feels like it), because I am going to be a wife...

I don't know.. IMO gift cards are the gift you give when you've pretty much given up and have no idea what to get a person ( I should know, I've copped out and given out gift cards to my teenage cousins because I don't know wtf they want anymore LOL)

but I think if you're with this person, and you see their daily life you'd want to give them something to improve their life a bit, make things easier or just something that they can indulge in for a while..

Exactly, and giving them the option of choosing themselves makes their life sooo much easier

...hmmm...shopping with the girlfriends with free money, or opening a gift from the husband that you may like or may not.

It's easy, especially if you know each other well.
What are her interests? Fashion? Sports? Art? Etc.
Then get them something based on that.
Don't have any ideas go for jewelry - Tiffany's can't miss - Nice earrings or necklace for around 120 so thats not too far out of budget.
I think we're buying a wii or playstation for each other -
so we'll both pay half then have it for our apartment.

If it's a new relationship go for jewelry or perfume if it's a longer term situation just ask them for a list?

although I would have to agree that the gift card is the easiest route to talk for everyone involved, I'm sure 89coupe still gives a couple of gifts to be opened xmas morning.

    Keep the ideas coming.

The list she gave me consists of RW&Co. GC, a few CD's, slippers and PJ's. I've already gotten her the PJ's and slippers.

She's also thinking of buying a guitar off of her brother, so I was thinking of getting her some learn-to-play books/dvds, and maybe some sheet music.
