    Default Edmonton Breaks Cold Record

    http://www.ecanadanow.com/canada/200...-the-windchll/

-46 yesterday, -59 with the wind chill. I don't think I've ever felt it be that cold before. That'd be insane!

I've felt a wind chill temperature of -62 before, and quite honestly, It's not a lot different feeling at that point than -45. Exposure becomes primary concern over comfort.

I drove to Edmonton years ago when it was -42. At highway speeds it got so cold the head and block on my motor contracted and leaked out all the oil.

    That fucking sucked lol.

So much for the global warming argument when you can have the coldest days on record

When it's that cold it's actually kind of cool, it's fun to be outside just to experience it.

That being said, once I spent 6 hours snowboarding in sub 30 temps and ended up with feet that, when they finally started to thaw, turned totally black from above the ankle to the tips of my toes.

    Ouch.

From your avatar it looks like you snowboarded naked to further the blackening effect.

But its the only car you can start up than instantly let er' rip to warm it up. I love rental cars..

I wouldn't mind that temperature for a day. I'd have fun with throwing boiling water into the air.. Untill I get cold.

If it's cold enough out, and you throw boiling water into the air, it instantly turns to snow.
