Telus Email settings in outlook for Shaw!?

Ok so here is the problem I am having.... At work I have telus internet and email set up on a BB and an HP laptop with Vista. When I bring this HP to my house and log onto my wireless network (Shaw ISP)I have no issue with downloading new emails. I got a new laptop for xmas and I just copied over the email client settings (double checked for mistakes) for outlook but it seems as there is an issue with my username or password as it wont let me logon to the server? Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

you need to use shaw's outgoing mail server.

shawmail.cg.shawcable.net

keep Telus' incoming mail server the same.


try that, and you will be able to send and receive your email on shaw.

I tried this and it is still rejecting my login? Also I didnt have to make any changes on my work laptop with all telus email client settings to receive telus email through my shaw internet at home? Any other ideas?

On the HP laptop the email client settings are set up for POP3.... does that have anything to do with being able to receive the email on multiple devices?

I just kept forcing the password by clicking ok and seems to work now!? Thanks for the help
