Default Help please buying new vehicle

Hi im new and I had a couple questions about a vehicle im looking into buying. Its a 2008 Lincoln Navigator L in the 4x4 trim. It currently has 9000km's. The sticker price at the used car dealership is 63,400. I want to offer 50,000. The Kelly blue book MSRP is 54,000 for this car brand new. Do you think 50,000 would be a good offer? If not how much is the most I should pay? Also please if you know any recommend any SUV's similar to this in this price range. Thanks for reading.

Aren't Kelley blue book numbers all in american dollars? And you do know cars are cheaper in the states...?

Do you really think if a dealership lists a price at 63k, they will sell it to you for 50k?

    1)Google Car Cost Canada
    2) Buy the report
    3) .........?
    4) Profit!!!

Seriously though, that's the easiest and fastest way to get a decent deal on any car.

You can't go in there with that....

I'd do it beyond lowball style.

Offer 25k. 50% seems to work. Then hide 5K in your pocket, see if you can get it for 20?

Go here, this will give you wholesale values for the truck. Fill in what model, options and kms at the bottom and it will total it for you.

You can look at eddie bauer trim level Expeditions, or Denali Yukons to save a few bucks, or an Escalade.

Sorry, I didn't notice it was a used vehicle.
Honestly, can't understand buying a one or two year old vehicle with interest rates so low on new cars.
Right now a 2010 Navigator L is MSRP $72k, or the Expedition Max Limited is MSRP $59k.
You should be able to get at least $5k off either of those trucks, and finance rates of near zero.

If you are spending $50k, get a new vehicle. That two year old Navigator is no bargain at that price.

Unless you are a drug dealer, no credit, cash deal.

$64,000 for a two year old used Navigator is at least $10,000 high. I quick search on the Autotrader side found several under 30,000 km with ASKING price of $54,000 or less (and a few were 2009's not 2008's). Tell these guys to pound sand.

I think you're being generous at $50k. Anywhere in the high 40's is reasonable considering its a two year old SUV at this moment, regardless of price VS. New cost.
