Different arm positions target different muscle groups.
I try to do pushups a couple times a week and always vary arm positions. Try doing pushups with yours hands forming a triangle directly beneath your chest. This targets your triceps more than other muscle groups.
tucking your elbows along your ribcage/side will target more triceps, along with triangle pushups, elbows out wide will hit more pec area, try vertical wall pushups for variation too
