I'm working on this project and I'm having a hard time finding stats.
I need some sort of stats that can show how many people work in downtown calgary.
does anyone know where I can find this?

200000 is what I could find. But that's from 2007

Maybe try contacting the Calgary Downtown Association?
Thanks KKY,
that gives me a starting baseline. I'm still trying to find something more recent.
i got a document on it if you want, send me your email.
interesting, according to the report by cooperS it says 120,000 workers in 2008 and the other is 200,000 in 2007, so i guess thats due to recession.
Thanks cooper
That's crazy if there was an 80k between 07 and 08
^ 2 different sources, who knows how accurate these things are.
either email downtown calgary assoication for the most accurate downtown workers or you can do your calculations by usign the office market reports.

this one is made by Cushwake end of 2009. The main reason is lay-offs in big firms during recession and companies relocating into outside downtown area.
hope this helps
