i always loved those too, the 2002s the m3s and so on
todays regulations dictate alot of the bulk and shape of cars today
i've not driven a new 1-series, cant be all bad though?!

I love those cars, they are the benchmark for driving experience IMO.
I would rather have a 79' 2002 than a 135i any day. I was actually really dissapointed with the large size fo the 135i... they should have made it shorter and narrower and minimize the fancy crap to better capture the real spirit of the 2002.
