they are pretty badly rusted.
should i get it fixed of use it as a parts car.
anyone know a good person to fix them, if it actually is good to just weld a new plate?

I'd like info on this too
You can patch them. Cut out sections and weld new ones depending on how bad it is
its pretty bad. the seams have already started to tear from the seam sealer.
pretty straight forward to do, remove the shock/coilover and go to work. make sure you have the car on jack stands with no load on the towers. if it's up front, remove the fenders. and go to work. personally if mine ever rusted, i'd probably cut out the whole shock tower and fabricate my own new towers. stock towers are pretty flimsy to start with anyways. use card stock to wrap it around the existing shock towers as a stencil for sizing up new metal, and make sure your mounting holes for your shock/coils are in correct position/angle if you do decide to redo the entire shock tower. even tub out your wheel wells if you please while your at it too. just depends what you're planning to do with the car.
