Default Riding from Tuscany to Downtown

    Hey all,

Just bought a house in Tuscany and thinking of biking to work in downtown. So I need some routes advice from those who ride from Tuscany to Downtown. What route(s) is the best and waste the least of time.

I rode twice a week from Arbour Lake to work in downtown last year, I know it probably will take much longer time from Tuscany.

    Thanks in advance.

I ride from Rocky Ridge 3 times per week and usually go down Stoney to Nose Hill to 87 St onto Bearspaw Dam Road and then follow 85th St/Bowness Road all the way to Home Road and then take the river path into downtown.

Thanks USED1 for the suggestion, I will take a look at that route.

^^I used to have a bike map I bought 8 years ago from Canadian Tire :P Just slipped out of my mind to think of that. I guess I can go to one of the bicycle shop to buy one.

I would check out bikecalgary.org . I'm sure I've seen people post routes from Tuscany to Downtown.

Just some of your tax $$$ at work, you will get a bill in time. Every bike out there is at least one less vehicle, refreshing idea. The owner of Dutch Cycle in Regina rides to work every day, in snowstorms, in anything. He has studded winter tires, screws of some sort... total bike nutter. Great family shop as well. Keep riding all year round if you can, it makes others think anything is possible. The nutters are the leaders.

On the way downtown it was about 40 minute and on the way home it would take a bit longer due to being tired after work and being uphill.
