First Flames game that wasn't against the Canucks tonight haha.....I loved it after the 6th goal when everyone cheered, and when we all cheered when Kipper made the long save from the other end of the ice hahahaha

PS...what a dick move by Glencross on that boarding play...almost as bad his crosscheck to Ballard's face during the Canucks game, this guy is a dick period, he takes so many stupid penalties away from the play, he only shows up every 10 games to score...I wouldn't be surprised if he's the first to get traded.

Yeah, because Ballard didn't ham that one up AT ALL. I'm surprised they didn't give Alex Burrows' Oscar to him after the game.

Ballard may have embellished, but Glencross is quickly become my pick to be the first one ejected from the mess that is the 2010-11 Calgary Flames.

I really don't like Ballard. He is a 4.5 million dollar mistake by Gillis imo. But honestly guys - that crosscheck by Glencross is pretty blatant:

Glencross still shows flashes of brilliance every now and then, much like Bourque...he is definitely one of the Flames' highest trade baits.

As for Ballard, he hasn't really shown his worth yet, true, but he got injured there for awhile remember...I would give him more time to gel with the team.

I will agree with you 100% that the cross check on Ballard was retarded and deserved the penalty, no place in the game for that.

However the boarding play i have to disagree. The were both chasing the puck and then Stoner stopped short to play the body on Glencross instead of the puck. Not a single player in the NHL could have avoided the contact. Glencross even pulled short on the play it could have been much worse if he followed through fully.

Trust me I am not one to normally stick up for Glencross, but I feel this ONE time he actually had no choice in the matter.

Actually have to agree with this one. Stoner went for the check as much as Glencross did. Stoner just happened to lose and fell akwardly. I don't feel it was dirty at all.
