good things to bring back from mexico

My folks are going to mexico in the new year, and they want to know what i want them to bring me back. I have never been to mexico so i don't really know what i would want from there. What would be some god thigns to have them bring back? I was thinking fake oakleys and other stuff like that... but what else would you bring back?

if ur lookin for a way to get around em u can put em in ur duty free bag, they never check them at all u could carry almsot anything in them

grab replicated stuff, belts, sunglasses etc
not sure bout mexico but it should b next ot nothing

they are going to playa del carmen i'll have to get them to pick up some stuff and the sunglasses would be more gifts for my friends... i'm not really a sunglasses kind of guy.

what would be a good authentic mexican souvenir? besides a sumbrero(sp) or one of those balnkets.

Ask them to bring some local arts and crafts. A lot of these things are small and can be easily packed in carry-on or checked baggage. Just make sure it's made in Mexico, and not in China or the Philippines!

A sombrero is pain in the ass to bring back. Be considerate in what you ask for. It's better to go there yourself to shop for yourself.

, sister got alot of jeans there, i went there last xmas when i stayed a little ways outside of playa del carmen.
