Default Pacific Coast Highway (U.S. route 101)

We're going to go down as far as San Fran. on vacation this summer along the PCH, just wondering if any Beyonders have any suggestions for cool shit to check out that's along that trail, or not too far from it.

Are you leaving from Calgary? Here is the route I took to the FSAE competition in LA a few years ago.

Great drive, the Oregon part is beautiful. If you see a little restaurant that has a sign that just says CRAB.

STOP, eat the delicious sea food. It was just south of Lincoln City, I don't remember how far.

Also, if you have a car that's even semi-capable, the best road I have ever driven is this one:

Sooooo windy and amazing. Like something out of Initial D.

Calgary -> Victoria -> Ferry to Washington

Sadly we'll be taking the Ze Panzer, not the MR2, as we'll be camping, and the shaggin wagon is great for that. That road looks amazing though... maybe I should have the wife drive the Allroad, and I'll take the MR2

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
