Default Will it buff out? Ti Ring + weld splatter

    G'day all,

Looking for ideas - my wedding ring is titanium with silver inlay... It's held up great to all the abuse thus far...

But yesterdays bout of welding has caused a problem... Got a piece of spatter/slag on it (nice and sharp too - scratched up my pinky/middle finger pretty good).

Can`t seem to get it off - Killed a razor blade (utility kind not DE blade kind) trying to pop it off, hasn`t even scratched the surface (quite literally). Played a bit with the little files - still not getting anywhere - hesitant to really get at it and scrape it up... Tempering didn't work (oven at 350 to ice quench)

    Anyone have an idear?

see if I can grab one - macro doesn't usually focus so good - just a little raised ball on a ring really

No scuffs really around it - so I'm pretty sure I didn't gouge something up (and I'm pretty sure I would have felt that).

if it didnt adhere well to the ring you could try getting it with a small pair of needle nose pliers or side cutters. or even just take a metal nail file followed by a soft nail file to it.

It's adhered very solidly - not sure if it's to the Ti or if titaniumera uses a coating of some sort (don't see any mention but who knows). Pliers didn't do a thing.

Titanium era offered to take care of it just pay for shipping- could use a bit of a refinish anyway... Might just do that, if I can't figure a way to take care of it myself...
