Interesting bit of information, Phoenix Yellow was sprayed on type r's using a single stage base/clear mixture rather than the more common and IMO better looking two stage base clear.

Did you do yours single stage or two?

Thats weird from honda? I used single stage in the engine bay.. But planing to use two stage on the exterior

Even Lexus paints their LS400 I believe and others with a certain black color that they paint using single stage.
Lancer Evo 8 red as well is single stage.

I got set of extra taillights I'm going to steal the connectors off and it's very easy to wire it up.. I will let you know I may have extra connectors for you too..

after reading this thread and my old teg poped up the paint, yes I have to agree with EK 2.0, the paint wasnt perfect, pretty much never got the polish after the car got sprayed so there were imperfections from the clear color and never got a chance to clean off the over spray on the window moldings and such. It wasnt a expensive paint job so I wasnt expecting much, although it was way better then having multi-colored panels. =P

Cant wait to see how your car turns out in the yellow.

Ok so I was bored at home decided to gut out the interior and spray it yellow....

Trying to get that sound deading shit Off was a pain!


Didnt mask the rear windows because they have tint on them which I will remove after its been sprayed
