backlit house numbers

I've seen these on a few houses and would like one for my own but can't find where to buy them. I am speaking off the black signs that have your full custom address on them and light up the address at night. Anybody know where to find them ???

The parents picked one up at Totem. It is the one you mount in the ground at the front of the property. Solar powered. Looks like a rock


Good on you for doing this, it is so annoying looking for house numbers in the dark. Using a flashlight to look up the house numbers makes you look like you are scoping out the neighborhood. lol

I don't think we are talking about he same numbers.

These ones I think are LED lit and would for example say...

1410 8th Avenue SW right on the sign. It's not just basic numbers.

It looks amazing, very crisp even from a distance. Its about a million times better than those LED numbers and similar.

For anybody who has one of these numbers on their house, how is the daytime visibility? I have no doubt they would be great at night, but before I buy one for my house I would like to know how they do during those couple short hours each year that the sun actually shines on us?

Another vote for Hi lite creations, saw their work and placed my order last week.

If you want to see one of their signs, take a drive to Aspen Wood Estates or Aspen Cliff...all of the houses there have the same sign, or visit their show room for additional samples.

Daytime visibility is excellent on the one my parents have, and in the night it is extremely crisp, it doesn't look like a blob of light like the LED ones and some others do.

When I look at the pictures it looks as if they sandblast the pattern into the back of the acrylic. If they painted that area black from the back I could see it being really good for daytime visibility, but since their showroom is indoors I didn't think I would get a fair indication from just visiting it.

Aspen Wood Estates / Aspen Cliff is a bit far for me to go, but I'll take a drive out if nobody can post a picture of one in the daytime

Since you placed an order, I am curious. How long does it take to get your sign? We are having a housewarming party 2 weeks after we move in (which is nov 6) in the evening so it would be really handy to have the sign up already.

Sign was ready as of Thursday...so about 8 days. I was pretty surprised how quick it was! Going up this Sunday..I'll try to get some pictures up (day/night).
