Default Best Steak Sandwich in the South?

Wondering where to get a great Steak Sandwich in either the SE or SW. I love Brewsters but am looking for suggestions.

Peanuts sports pub in the Carriage House inn on Mcleod. Cheap and damn good.. Think its 10 or 12 bucks and that gets you a steak sandwich, side salad and fries

If you are just looking for the "Best Steak Sandwich in the South" it has to be "The Steak Sandwich" at Caeser's Steakhouse.

Now if as part of the criteria you require a great atmosphere in which to enjoy the sandwich, their lounge is certainly not the most happening place; and even that may be a drastic overstatement for some.

I might be dating myself a bit but when I first moved to Calgary we could go there at lunch, have the sandwich, salad, fries & a beer for under $10.

Not quite. It would've been about 1995 I think. The food was $5.99 and pretty decent as far as quality goes (for bar food anyway).
