Just downloaded season 2, shows quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Finally watched season 1 and 2 this week and wow, the last 4-5 episodes of S2 was a snooze-fest. This series is reminding me of Lost. A story that seemingly never ends and gets more and more ridiculous.

On board with you here. This show is the biggest overhyped snooze-fest on TV. After the terrible job last season I would only watch this if it literally had nothing at all else to watch, or wanted to fall asleep at night.

I agree - loved the concept at first but it started to really get boring. I found myself starting to hate more characters as the show went on.

I hate the main character for being such a big pussy and his son for being an idiot and doing the dumbest things.

Anybody seen "Survivors"? I haven't seen that or walking dead, but I know my roommates were massively let down by WD, but then went totally ape shit over survivors. Might be worth a look if you're into zombie flicks.

I dont know about anybody else, but I have a deep rooted hatred for Laurie, just the most useless person on the show. For how much trouble she creates and causes, I'd be quite happy to see her being a feast for group of walkers.

That and her kid that causes 10x the shit for what little he does.
I agree with Anarchy, he really is an idiot. For how much shit he's caused.... wow.
The first few episodes of season 1 got me hooked, but I hope things take a turn for the better. Most of season 2 was a total let down.

Kind of funny, for a "refuge" they should head out to rural Sask or Manitoba. Tons of food there ,with few chances of "walkers", given how desolate it is. Down almost anywhere in the states, they'll always be up to their knees in them.

Hmm, have to check that one out. Deadset was decent as well (BBC show about a zombie outbreak during a "Big Brother" gameshow shoot)

I knew the dynamic with Shane he had was going to be an issue really early on. I certainly wouldn't call him a pussy though, not entirely sure where that comes from. I think he has little choice but to wear quite a few hats considering the collective welfare of the group.
All he's doing is being that person.

Shane on the other hand is the almost the opposite of all that is needed, short of a guy that kill when *needed*. but asides from walkers, it seldomly is.
