that as a great episode, hopefully the rest of the season is just as fantastic ... I will have to catch up on the talking dead tonight. I can barely wait for next Sunday!

I guess the thing that was staring at carole wasn't a super zombie at all.
It was a lonely black that got shot in the headlol

I noticed this. Lots of prison time work outs.Originally posted by benyl
Anyone notice how the zombies were moving way faster in this episode?
very good ep.. probably easier to kill laurie this way than having her shot like in the comics
carl is just badass/non phased now too it seems
i'm waiting for the governor to come out of his shell if he does like in the comics it'll be crazy
Such a great episode! Glad she's dead, but am I the only one that fuckin hates Carl? That kid just drives me nuts, and has for the whole show....
They showed him talking to Rick in the season 3 trailer so it is just matter of timeOriginally posted by lsc2g

I knew he was gonna die... How you ask? He had more than 30 seconds of camera time.Originally posted by SmAcKpOo
They killed off T-dog only to replace him with another black dude

T-dog was just bad casting from the start. He was the token black guy who was supposed to be Tyrese in the comics, but he wasn't even close. New black guy is WAY more Tyrese like.
Funny though, how last season they kept talking about how "excited" they were for T-dogs story line to unfold, and that they had "big plans" for him, lol. Just shows they have no idea what they're doing for a long term story-line.

Maybe that new black guy will carry on what T-Dog lacked. Not sure how far he got in the comics, but I don't mind seeing what happens to the 2 prisoners in the long run, if they decide to keep them. Keeps it interesting.

Oh, that Glenn.
So glad Lori is gone. Hated that bitch.
Two things I noticed:
1) Guns suddenly have recoil again
2) Before the team was attacked outside the prison, I counted six seconds while the camera panned away from the team and then back to them and showed the background. In that time, the walkers suddenly appeared and covered some 30-40 yards.
Just like early in the series where there were no walkers on the highway then suddenly they're everywhere in a matter of seconds, I think the creators of this show really need to look at timelines a little closer.
Or at least explain where they got the Star Trek-esque teleporter.
Shock factor. Definitely startled me!Originally posted by Kloubek

Think of it this way, they're all from the south. Everyone talks pretty slow down there, yet in the show, they speak normal.Originally posted by Kloubek

The producers ffwd the talking scenes as to not bore the viewers, that's how the zeds move so fast when no one is looking, and having a conversation.

Lol @ Carl the stoneface killer. Seems so ridiculous.
Also if you look at the way he holds the gun and manages perfect headshots every time it's even more ridiculous.
I still enjoy watching it, but this show is going downhill for me. Too many glaring inconsistencies that could be fixed with zero or minimal effort, but they choose not to.
I was hoping buzz-cut would get bit, but Lori will do. At least 1 of the 2 is gone.
The teleporting zombies are a little over the top as well, they didn't even try and make it seem plausible.
How have they not figured out yet that riding a fucking noisy-as-hell hog probably isn't helping their stealthy approach?

its a show about zombies..........
.......
ya I've been wondering that since they first showed him on that thing, and he still has it. lolOriginally posted by sexualbanana

Not sure on this, but I think the show implied buzz cut was the one getting eaten at the end, no? Earlier you see her wearing some scarf on her head or something, and later you see that scarf on the ground by a body the zombies are eating.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

That is fantastic news if true. I thought the black guy died to save her though because he was already bit. I guess the show never really did tell us what happened to buzz cut but everyone else assumed she was dead. I didn't notice the scarf on the ground, but if that means she's gone I will enjoy the show quite a bit more. Both gone in one episode, perfect. Now all they need to do is work on consistency and realism (I'm aware it's a zombie show, but some things would be ridiculously easy to correct).Originally posted by Feruk

Things like this are mostly my problem with the show. It's too inconsistent and illogical. It could still be a perfectly good show about zombies and also be plausible/logical. Addressing the super loud vehicles, teleporting zombies, impossibilities with the guns, etc. are all things that would cost nothing to correct and make the show better (IMHO of course).Originally posted by sexualbanana
