    Default tires slowly leaking

so every week or so I have to fill all my tires with air. I read that tires lose pressure over time, like around 1 psi a month. I fill it up to about 40-45 psi and a week later it goes down to 25-30 psi when I'm back filling it up.

only thing I can come up with is they need to be resealed... if they do, where can I get this done? I was thinking Fountain Tire... I'm in Edmonton at the moment.

Did you check for nails/screws? Why are you filling to 40-45 PSI?

You either have one of two issues. Either
    a) You have a puncture. If in the tread, it should be able to be plugged. If in the sidewall, the tire is probably toast
    b) You have a leaking bead. This would be fixed by remounting the tire to the wheel.

Take it to a tire shop and they'll fix u up.

nah there couldnt be on all 4 tires. and I thought that was okay?

i'll take it in quick. its annoying, I can feel resistance on the steering wheel grow more each day, all the while it lowers gas mileage.

how long do you reckon itll take at the shop? and how much will it cost per tire?

    thank you !

Do you have metal valve stems? If so check and make sure they are not leaking.

Could very well be, you never know. or a bad bead. Assuming your car is a 2.2VTEC, I'd say Accord or Prelude with come with 14 or 15 inch tires. 40-45 PSI is way too much, you need ~ 33. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

If it's a bad bead, do they un-mount and re-mount the tires and balance it for free?

not sure. i just go in and tell them my tire is losing air and they usually find out what's wrong with it, whether it be a nail or whatever.

bring it to a tireshop in the end but in the mean time to make it easier for the tire shop, get some soapy water and a spray bottle and go nuts with it around the valve stem with the valve cover off exposing the valve core and all around in and outside beads.

youll know where its leaking when you see the fine bubbles

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
