    Question Turkey or Dubai?

Well I am heading over to Morocco in the new year, and plan on stopping by for a few days in either Turkey or Dubai.

Which one would you guys recommend? I have heard great things about Turkey, and the wife would like to check it out.

I have a few friends who went to Dubai and also liked it.

I would suggest Istanbul, Turkey if you want to see historical places like hagia sofia, the blue mosque , the cistern. etc...

I will be in Istanbul Dec 22 - Jan 12. Pm me if you want some more info.

Turkey is deeply historical, Dubai is a cliche. See a football game there if you can, they look on TV to be crazy.

If you do go to watch football you might have to go SUPER early. I have heard that there is no reserved seating and fans come in to the stadium up to 8 hours prior to kick off to get a good seat...I also have heard that they have pretty intense atmosphere in the stadiums there

I'm heading to Istanbul next Monday for a few days inbetween my travels back to Copenhagen. You'll save money going to Turkey on flights and accommodations. I'll take a good load of pictures of our hotel and let you know some of the things that we did.

I paid 450 CAD for a round trip to Istanbul from Copenhagen and 3 nights in a 4.5 star hotel including breakfast, which in my opinion is a great deal. I have a feeling there should be tons of great things to see and do in Turkey.

Not even a decision IMO Turkey for sure.

Hit up Istanbul and Izmir, some crazy clubs there too.

    Default Turkey or Dubai?

I have been to turkey few years back and going there was a great experience. You must visit Ephesus city while in Italy. Ephesus city is well known for its architectural sites. This ancient city has Temple of Artemis which is one of the seven wonders of the world.

I say Dubai too, but KO22, I went to Wild Wadi and it was so gay. Such a waste of money felt like there was nothing to do after the huge megadrop and that wasn't thrilling.
