Yeah dude, just cause you dont like something doesn't mean that everyone doesn't as well. There are a few of Us who enjoy creative photography and this is a creative way to express it with people who share similar interests in both Photography as well as cars. Its not like it is in "Car Talk" or something.

Keep the Pictures comming, I'll try some as soon as I get my CF card back. Likely on tuesday.

    I'm 95% sure they're all done w/ real camera's, not digital's.

I can only think of a very very select few lenses that are capable of producing shots like that...and they are Bling to say the least!

Ekliptix: do you shot pics for fun, or do you do it for a living??

I've been in the photo industry for a long time now, and from seeing some of your work i can tell you that you do have a talent which most lack. Taking a picture is one thing, but being able to create a picture is a different story Good work, so keep it up, and hopefully it'll pay off for you in the future.

BTW: what type of photography are you interested in?? Portrait, wildlife, landscape, etc...

wow, thanks! I just got into it a year ago, so I have lot's to learn. type of photgraphy? I have a thing for macro for sure, as well as landscape, plot, winter scenes, sport, humor, digital art, etc. I've taken a class at the U of C for introduction to digital photography which I will benifit from when I start figuring out some of the functions of my new camera.

I plan on sending some images into www.image-dealer.com

    Check out www.photofurum.ru.

The lighting would be usable for car pics, but the lens would not be. The ones used in these shots are for macro (close up) shots, while for taking car pics you want a wide angle lens (ie: 18mm or 16mm with an f 2.8 or lower) preferably something which doesn't distort the edges of the frame as well. With that said, the lens which would do the job should cost anywhere from $1200 and up.
