Default Rage2 Approved- FS: SYMA Mini Helis [2 types available] S107G & S026G

I did the last mini heli groupbuy for beyond. Since then a few individual beyonders have made orders with me for coworkers, family and friends. I have a handful of spares as I can only buy them by the carton so I'm sitting on leftovers once again.

Rage2 was kind enough to allow me to post these up and maybe help some of those out who are late on their christmas shopping at the same time as clearing out my office.

There are two models available off the bat, but limited quantities.

    There are:

    0 x S107G SOLD
0 x S026G SOLD (this is a chinook dual rotor military style heli)

Cost is $40/heli. All are sealed BNIB
Please PM. Pickup in NW Calgary.

    Quick Notes:

Both of these are gyro stabilized 3 and 3.5 channel helis giving full 3D movement and precise control (chinook 3.5 is because you can trim fwds rev motion in addition to yaw). S107G has 2 built in bands available (ie. 2 can fly at the same time) S026G has 3 built in bands available (ie. 3 can fly at the same time) all of which exist in each unit and sync to the remote band you select. I've never tried flying the different models at the same time but I assume you could get 2 to maybe even 5 up in the air together depending on interference. All units can be charged off included USB cable or off the remote. Remote takes 6 AA batteries.

For those of you who want longer flight times and better performance there are a few tips and easy mods I can suggest that increase flight dynamics and performance significantly.

Stock charging times are around 30-40min with flight times arounds 5-8minutes. Modified flight times can exceed 10-14minutes. Oh and modified S026G Chinook helis can actually carry some impressive loads for their size

These things are loads of fun and make a perfect christmas gift. First come first serve.

lots of PM's looks like all of the S107G's will be spoken for at this stage. Few S026G's still available at this point.

Few people curious what the differences are between the two.

If you can't view the videos really the main differences are styling with a few other minor differences in control. Stock flight times, durability, are pretty much the same. The main reason I picked up the S026G models was for the modified lifting capabilities. With the dual coaxial setup and trim capabilities its much easier to center and fly with a load (and by load I'm talking like a pen here lol not a hampster). Mine can carry pens, coins... laser pointer dangling below, fun for you and for pets lol. After minor mods to both, the stripped S026G has more power and longer flight times than a stripped S107G.

Flight controls are the same for both. Simple: up, down, left, right, forwards, backwards. You have a trim knob for yaw on both and the S026G also adds dual trim buttons to trim out fwds and rev for even more control.

S107G have 2 built in bands (so 2 can be airborne at once)
S026G have 3 built in bands (so 3 can be airborne at once)

both are comparable in size around 6-7inches in length

**please be patient if you've PM'ed me already as I have to get back to everyone individually**

hey i was thinking about these for my cousins possibly, they are 16 and 13, but which chopper is actually easier to fly? or are they relatively similar?

theyre almost identical to fly. even though they are slightly different designs the controls and flight dynamics are almost identical. very easy even a complete beginner can get these airborne and cruise around. they both have a tendancy to hover and the gryo feedback stabilizes flight immensely.

    All PM's replied.

All S107G's spoken for with a few people lined up if initial buyers flake so theyre a done deal.
    A handful of S026G's left.

Just picked one of these up tonight - works perfectly (much better than similar cheap helicopters I have purchased at Stampede) and it is definitely a ton of fun. Thanks again Doug!
