iPhone 4 in Europe
A friend of mine has asked me to buy an iPhone 4 for him here because it's cheaper than in Europe, apparently.
I understand that bought from Apple at full price, the iPhone 4 is unlocked. Is that the same as in the states, or would there be any advantage to buying it in the states knowing that it will be used in Europe only?
Anything I'm missing that might make the iPhone 4 useless for use in Europe depending on where I buy it?
They have 3G there so I assume it will work but I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks in advance - if this should work I just want to make sure I don't send him a useless phone!
