Default 2002 LS430 lexus not starting when really cold?

hi, ls430 does not start when its really cold like now (-25)

I have best battery, (theres full cranking)
always did the service at lexus since new, well atleast my brother before me.

I did the winter service package in October, and their "winter oil"

It doesnt have a block heater. I didnt expect from this car alone aonther toyota this old.

    Any suggestions?

It may have another problem which isnt apparent when the car is warm and can crank fast enough to ignore.

Stuff like leaking injectors or gummed up valves usually dont cause huge headaches but can be hard for the car to compensate for when its cold.

When is the last time the car has had a tune up?

    thanks AE

We did it in October at the dealer.

I think the idoit working there put the incorrect spark plugs.

If its the case I'll file dispute with Amex for the $1100 tune up.

Before you waltz in the dealership expecting food on a silver platter... I'll be nice and try to spare you from looking like an idiot.

How much fuel is in your tank? I have seen it where the fuel lines in the tank freeze up thus for blocking up the lines if moisture builds up in the tank. That's why in the winter they tell you to keep the tank full whenever possible.

We been having problems with this dealership for years and so forth many people I know.

    Full premium gas from ESSO.

I am not actually going to complain until we find the problem, I'll pull out a spark plug and let you guys know.

No. you can dispute a partial amount. I never had to before even when they screwed us thousands of dollars.

They did put the wrong spark plugs, why i dont know. My friend Alan who was a Toyota tech was the one who suggested i look at the spark plugs last night, So I ordered the proper ones had him installed them this morning went and started it (was cold since 10 am) it stated instantly. Even started better when it was warm outside.

Already phoned the service desk, they are "looking" into it.

Thanks for all the posts guys! You all rock!
