HTC Desire Wifi Hotspot App

Hope someone can help me out cause no-one at Telus knows what I'm talking about...

My HTC Desire has a Wifi Hotspot App.

If I turn this app on and then connect my laptop to it, does Telus consider this as tethering??

When I check my data usage on my phone, the amount I have left to use drops as I use my laptop.

yes, that will be considered tethering, however whether or not telus has a way of differentiating it from your phone usage i cant say for sure.

the only way to be sure is wait for your next bill.
