Just wondering if any Beyonders have heard and tried this product called the 'Bolt Buddy'. Any feedback or reviews would be nice. Thanks

personally, I would not bother. I would just use an alarm.

Putting something like this in, does not stop someone from breaking a window to gain access, and contrary to the video, your door can still be kicked in, and if it is kicked in, you have much more damage to repair than a split door jam.

If you are still paranoid about it, there is another product available that goes underneath the door handle and then to the floor. problem with it is you need to be inside to set it up.

I have this product at my place. You really need to upgrade the dead bolt at the same time for it to be of any use (I.e. not the locks you get from home depot).

For some reason the chrome ones rusted very quickly, whereas the brass ones still look new. The guy that manufactures them offered to replace the chrome ones for me at no charge.

Other posters are correct in that it will not stop the door from being opened 100%, but anything I can do to make my house seem like too much trouble, and my neighbours place easier, is worth it in my eyes.
