Reasons why Drumheller area wouldn't make a good race track venue...

I was actually thinking about how bad it is after I posted and I guess part of it is that I idle for atleast 2 hours a day and usually run it in tow mode. But still, this truck is so fucking bad it drives me nuts.Originally posted by Cos
My 120 liter tank lasts between 800 and 1000 on the highway.
Worst part is that it's mechanically perfect and is always maintained properly.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.
12MPG in the city and 18MPG highway
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
Finally starting to see some better gas milage in the Frontier now that its broken in. I don't think I ever saw better than 15.5L/100km last winter, but now im up to 14.4L in the city and managed 13L/100km on the way up too Edmonton over christmas.
I average about 16.2L/ 100km.

I thought hummers were frowned upon...
Does everything matter or does nothing matter?

Thanks, I've had it for over 2 years now. been through both diffs and TC, and had to get the tranny rebuilt to handle the 500hp/500ft/p.
But, Im in Winnipeg, so I won't be heading out there with it any time soon. It is cheaper to fly there!

It's plenty capable, factory rear diff lock is a nice feature. I've been able to keep up to any H1 around here.
Actually had to pull a couple H1s out of mud

2011 Colorado Z71 w/ 5.3L
I'm getting about 13L/100km all stock except for a little bit of armor. (32" tires)
2011 Chevy Colorado Z71 - 5.3L LH9 - Daily driver
2003 Mazda B4000 on 35s
Now that we had that bit of work done on mine, I'm sitting at 16.5l/100k city, 14l/100k highway. Highway is about on par with EPA stats... but in city *should* be getting around 18-18.5l/100k. I guess I tend to nurse it to speed, mind you.... so if I drove it naturally without restraining the skinny pedal for fuel economy's sake, I'd probably get right on par with epa. Which is really good considering the bigger tires, roof rack, and lights up top. I'm guessing trips on the Deerfoot and Beddington also help when traffic is open. So many variables.Originally posted by projekz

Not sure what your highway stats are like, but my overall mileage is not a lot of different than yours considering I have 2 extra cylinders, and a bit more drag on my roof. (I'm now running a gas can up there too in light of my recent fuel sender issues)
