In the North of the city? Either gas stations or any place in general where you can vacuum the car for free. Paying $1 per min at reg car washes is a rip off. thx

I havent ever seen any free ones in the north, but since everyone charges for air aswell, I dont know if there would be any at all.
Not free that I know of in the NW but Shell in Crowfoot is a timed by minute, wash/rinse/vacuum so if your quick you can be in and out quicker than a loonie vacuum, another .10c off if you get gas as well.
Just buy a shop vac from Canadian tire or something.
Its alot easier then having to vacuum all your shit at the car wash.
... then return it when you're done with itOriginally posted by 4lti

The car washes are a joke. Can't believe I'm waiting 30mins just to wash my damn car.
What are the rules with washing your car in your drive way? No soap?
No soap of any kind (environ. friendly or not), just pure water.Originally posted by natejj

How cheap are you? When my truck is REALLY filthy it costs me like $3, and usually you get 2min/$1. When it's just a bit dirty I can get it done for $2 and still have time to spare.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.
No way you can wash a whole dirty truck in 3$.Originally posted by ddduke

If its actually REAL dirty where you gotta use a sponge or a brush, I can see 3 Dollars being up in no time.

Why are you even washing your car on a day like today, 5 mins after you drive out its in the same state as before you washed it, just my opinion, wash it at night if you absolutely have to when the temp drops and even better below freezing when the puddles turn to iceOriginally posted by maxwinedog

But it only costs me $4 to wash my truck because I goto the car wash atleast 5 times a week and it never gets that dirty to begin with.

(Sorry to bring up another old thread, I'm on a roll tonight)
Whoa wait. No soap allowed when washing your car on the driveway? Really? What am I going to do with that giant 4ss bottle of Turtle Wax Ice I just bought?
Since you just bought it, you can return it. Problem solved.
Wash your car on your grass and use all the soap you want. They can't ticket you if there's no water from your wash going down the storm drain.Originally posted by i.RSX
