Haha got to love Hennessey's dramatics with the GT-R and 911 TT vs. CTS-V wagon comparo's. This "Family Station Wagon" can keep up with these sports cars! Wow stock vs. stock? uh...no, we tuned the CTS-V to 650hp, almost 200hp more than either, but we'll downplay that one...
Cadillac...there is no substitute
650HP, 4 doors, enough room to haul a big screen TV, and cost less then both a GT-R & a 911 and still kick their ASS's.Originally posted by Orbie

GTR needs a $900 cobb tune and it would be a different story plus the Cadillac had slicks which in the streets most likely won't have.
That's the problem! with those specs it SHOULD kick their asses! but they all ran pretty much the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times including traps, we're talking .1 seconds either way and that's an ass kicking!? and like Trev pointed out the Caddy's on slicks too!Originally posted by 89coupe

You're right though giving the stock CTS-V which already has a 70 hp and 116 lb-ft torque advantage on a stock GT-R another 100 hp and 100 lb-ft and having it be able to keep up is a great accomplishment
But I do have to give props to it being a station wagon and having the utility, price and performance it does. Great bang for the buck no doubt, I just love the way Hennessey advertises it, like the results were supposed to be surprising or something.
