You can get into pretty much any compact for the money:
Civic, 3, Focus, Elantra, Impreza, Jetta, Golf etc.

If you want to have more ideas on cars to lease, check yahoo auto so that you could be able to have ideas on which price and which car are you going to choose. There are a lot of options for leasing within 400-500 range.
