Question Hours of hawks and cops in canyon meadows area. What's up?

For the last few hours I have seen police cars, heard sirens and seen the hawks helicopter around the Elbow and Anderson area. Does anybody know what's going on?

When I came home from the store at 6 police were arresting a few young guys by the strip mall and the hawks were doing circles and it hasn't stopped since then plus on and off sirens. Connected?

Strong wind gusts hampered the efforts of fire fighters in southeast Calgary early Wednesday night. A large grass fire on Poplar Island, which is located on the Bow River in Fish Creek Park, burned about 10 acres of land. An aquatic rescue boat was used to ferry crews and fire pumps to the island. There were no injuries or property loss with the smoke visible kilometres away.

Well that really depends on how long it takes for the reputable media sources to print their story doesn't it?

Yup, however long it takes for them to put their story up, so he can copy and paste it to make money

Thanks for explaining that one troll. I don't think any of us understood what Kloubek was getting at.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.

I thought the exact same thing. Then i second guessed that maybe a neighbour was making a cedar planked salmon or cooking ribs.
