Dark Dark Red Paint Jobs

Anybody have any examples of Paintjobs that are so dark red that theyre almost black? so almost looking black but then when you see it in the right light you can see the red. Hopefully im explaining this well enough haha
Im getting my car painted soon and was thinking this would be a pretty cool colour but wanted to see something similar before pulling the trigger.

The 2010 Mazda 6 had a cherry red that I think fits.

Its got a metallic red tinge, but it needs to be in bright light or really close to notice, it looks black from a distance.

I know exactly the color you're talking about, I have only seen it on a couple cars - usually old hot rods. Go to a body shop supply store like CMAX and ask them to let you look through their colors, tell them the color you are looking for and they should be able to help you out. If one supply shop doesn't have a chip in the color you are looking for go to another one, there are lots in the city. Once you get the brand/color give it to the shop painting your car.

Are you thinking of a very dark, deep candy-apple red?



A House of Kolor KBC11 might be along the right lines, although it sounds like you may want it even darker than that.

Found it, Meadecherry Red Pearl over black is the colour.

here another similar color - black cherry kandy over copper metallic basecoat
