    Talking Hage69's BB6 Build

Hey Beyond, so this is gunna be my mini build of my 1997 Honda Prelude SH. I got this car for a decent price but the only problem was the little bit of rust that it had on the quarters.

To start the pics, heres just a pic of my old ride which got stolen and trashed which led me to buying my Lude:
    2001 Honda Accord sedan

    Now pics of the Lude

    First Day:

    Bone Stock H22:

A picture with my buddies BB6:

Time to take care of that rust................. but about 2 hours before I dropped it off for the rust to be taken care of, I had dropped off my winter daily off for a safety/ insurance inspection. On the way home from that, a kid slidded into me but thankfully it was only minor damages to my passanger fender which he went and bought me a new one 10 minutes after this happened. So I got that painted and it's ready for install but I'm to lazy to get around to it.

In case you're wondering why it's being sanded down, it was because I traced wherever the rust was and then after I cut it all out and replace, but during that time I didn't have a camera, and my phone was dead.

Rust all gone! Pics from a little bit of a distance, will get more upclose ones soon.

The build will progress as soon as I get more parts. As of now I'm waiting for a member here to sell me there Greddy Ti-C cat back and another for a set of header's

All critisicm, comments, or suggestion apprecitated

Who fixed that rust for you? Did they cut it and weld new metal in there?

    N/A build?
    jrsc?
    turbo?

I grew up on Preludes and always have been fond of 5th gens.

You'll never find a deal like I did in a million years unfortunately. I found my kit complete/brand new on ebay years ago from some shops showroom and won it for 8 or 9 hundred bucks.

I have no idea how hard they are to find now, I haven't really done much for about 6 years.

Damn you got lucky. Just have a question for you tho. Does a jrsc need an inter cooler running at like 7-9 psi

In order to get a good powerful SAFE tune my opinion is yes. Given that one was never available back then, I have been running a water/meth system to insure safety from detonation and have had great success with it. I only went that route since there were no other options available.

Now that this package is available, i'm going to seriously consider getting it.

this should be interesting. I'm following a number of lude builds right now, I'll be adding this one to that list.

I got a 4th gen lude right now I need to start working that has some rust...I'm thinking of removing the rust but then from there I wouldn't know what to do.

Haven't updated in a while. Just picked up the Greddy Ti-C (thanks 'bignerd'). It took about 5 hours to install cause my stock ones bolts were rusted to shit. Sounds amazing now. Will post pics soon

Nice to see another lude, since Bignerd never drives his!

I have a 4th gen as my summer toy, currently running a jdm H22, while I rebuild my high compression H23VTEC, upping the compression even more for this year along with a slight bore increase, and upgrading the valvetrain, cams, and header as well. Ran 13.2 last summer at Race City, hopefully low 12 to high 11s this summer up in Edmonton.

Yeah he told me this weekend that he had sold it

No way, the 13.2 was on my H23 Vtec with a 100 shot, it ran a 14.4 n/a. My JDM H22 ran 14.8 at Race city, both on drag radials.
