    Default "Sicko" by Michael Moore

So I finally watched it....what I'm wondering is, how did a group of 9/11 workers/volunteers/heroes led by Moore himself, get to Cuba and actually received a free healthcare there?

The question in my head remains, I thought Americans were prohibited from entering Cuba? Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thanks.

Americans are not prohibited from entering Cuba. American companies are prohibited by the American government from offering travel services there though. So, all an American who wants to go to Cuba has to do is fly there from Mexico or Canada. Cuban authorities do not stamp passports in order to avoid hassle and discourage American tourism.

So long as the boat doesn't dock at a US port first.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

just looked this up as i was planning a visit from Florida.

Americans are prohibited from 'spending money' in Cuba by the Treasury Department.

Charters from Florida leave on the regular. Anyone from the US can go there for up to one day. any longer you are automatically guilty of sprnding money there and need a license from the us treasury.

^There is a bit more to it than that. It's also very recent (a few months ago) that travel restrictions to cuba were relaxed, but they are still pretty stiff:

What I also realized is that I love how terrorists get free healthcare in their prisons while innocent ones struggle to pay the bills each day everyday. If you're in a need of help, hospital will literally kick you out if you don't have money...

Of course, while at the same time, hospitals don't kick out terrorists...

I don't think they stamp tourist passports at all, at least mine was never stamped.
