It comes out February 28 for the 360 and PS3. Demo drops February 21. PS3 version comes with an exclusive mountain, Mt. Fuji. Customizable soundtracks and characters. Gear generated "Borderlands" style. Oh, and wingsuits!

Already have mine pre-ordered. My fondest memory with the first SSX was playing the last level, Untracked. It was this amazing mountain with no markers or anything, just pure snow. It was long and gorgeous and had the perfect music to go with it (Finished Symphony by Hybrid). I just hope there's another moment like that waiting for me in the new SSX.

My very first PS2 game, when I bought my PS2 way back in 2000 or whenever it was, was SSX I have fond memories of many hours spent carving up the tracks, and many more hours spent waiting for the damned levels to load XD

+1 that last level and the song could be played over and over again in the same session i remember. the demo is out today right? will try it later then.

It's just you. The game looks great.

And I have to say, I'm really enjoying it. It takes a little while to get going, but once you've got some leveled up characters and start competing in global events, it's really compelling. You can pull some serious bank in the big events if you're decently skilled (I'm finishing in gold and silver and getting around 200k each time) and the Geotag system is really fun. I like doing a run specifically to hunt for other people's Geotags, just to stick it to 'em haha.

I've almost got Elise fully leveled up (she's Canadian and always been my favorite) and I'm looking forward to exploring more of the tracks. Oh, and thanks for the heads up on the price protection!
