Default who insures sport bikes ??

I contacted my broker and the only company they have that will insure a sports bike is Nordic. Kinda sucks cause i cant get better rates

Just wanted to know how every one else uses ? but your brokers company but the company your broker gets there insurance from.

If there is an insurance broker on here PM me might change every thing over ( car and bike)

I honestly don't know who I'm with (who my broker is with, I know its a good price though).

But my pink card says "Royal & Sun Alliance insurance"
Maybe that's it (its not the brokers name haha)

Maybe in your case, but not mine. Mid 20s male on newer sportbike = over $1500 for full coverage through Nordic. That's with one ticket over four years ago, which I'm not sure is even factored in anymore.

Around $550. The last Nordic quote I got was close to $1600.

Did you have insurance with other items too, or just the bike?

    $550 for Liability-Comprehensive-Collision? WTF? lol

^ I only have the bike with them. Comp + Collision + Liability. That said, liability coverage is lower than what I got through Nordic (I forget by how much), and I'm sure that factors in somewhere. Still, it was the best rate at the time.

    *1000 deductible

I'm through intact. I guess they my broker got it done because I have 3 cars and house through them. I pay 150 a year For liability. Full coverage is 600 or so I think.

Out of curiosity, does it make a difference if the broker writes down your bike is a 599cc bike or a 600? (Re: R6 official vs imagined specs)

good prices but the car insurance was more then i pay now so i my just get bike insurance from them

Statefarm for me is $300/year. PLPD, no coverage. Full coverage is $550/year. Mind you Ive been riding/driving for many years and have zero demerits which helps. No accidents since I was 17, and that was a shared fault one.

I'm with johnson unifund or johnson inc? I think the name changed from one to the other or something.

350 ish for plpd with fire/theft. I also have 10 demerits, but no accidents.

I'm with Costen & Assosiates and they write the policy through Jevco. I ride a 2010 ninja 250 and it was my 1st year riding w/ 0 demerits. It is currently $450/ year for full coverage and if I went to a Suzuki SV650sa, it would go to $550 for similar coverage.
