Yeah right.. Woman passed out next to the tracks and the dog got hit for being there..
'Spain, who relapsed shortly before the incident, was arrested on charges of obstruction and danger on a railroad track.'
I doubt 100% the dog pulled her an inch. Now her dogs missing a leg cause the drunk had her somewhere it shouldnt have been.
Hard to say what really happened. I mean, the woman was unconcious.
Even if it is 100% true, it is going to take more than a story like this to keep people from unfairly targeting pitbulls.
I can picture this exactly as it happened.
She was walking down the center of the tracks, tripped and fell into the ditch. Meanwhile the train comes and somehow the dog gets hit - Is its mouth beat up at all? I picture it trying to bite/chase the train a bit.. either way it busts it leg..
Woman wakes up, from the noise of the train/dog whining/ or just sobers up enough and finds the dog hurt and herself in the ditch and makes up this lovely story, thinking how else could I have got off the tracks? I mean its not like I have a drinking problem.
Dog gets hit by train while trying to drag it's drunk owner to a nearby culvert to eat her.
