Damn that sucks, but really this is a case for warning honks that we should do more of in our society, it's an honest mistake and one warning honks would've saved a lot of headache on both sides... Unfortunately in this city, the honk is only reserved for being mad...

How is the driver with the camera supposed to know someone is going to pull out on them? You want him to honk at every perpendicular vehicle waiting to pull out?

Give your head a shake. Remove the bad drivers from road, it'll make it a safer place for everyone.

Nah. She noticed my honk quick enough that she turned early into opposing traffic. That probably saved us from colliding.

In my case, I wasn't even mad when I used the honk. It was more of an 'oh shit she better stop or else we'd collide' moment - the honk was merely me alerting her of the impending crash and hoping that she could take corrective action in time.

Wow which vehicle did that tire come off of? Was in from that trailer stopped on the right-side?

That's pretty messed up... and the damage would've been bad had that tire just flew into someone's car.

The car was stopped safely around Country Hills Boulevard where EMS were able to assess the woman.

I saw her halfway between Centre and 14 NW. She got all the way around to CHB. Yikes!

Regarding my post from yesterday and in particular its potato quality: My camera is a Blackvue DR400G-HD II. I had been led to believe that the problem was an inadequate heat sink causing the CCD to fail. Last night I found a video online that indicated the inner part of the lens (the side that faces the CCD) is prone to collecting grime. After taking the device apart (relatively easy, 4 mini Phillips screws on the camera body and then 2 mini Phillips screws holding the lens assembly against the CCD's circuit board), I was able to use lens cleaning fluid and a Q-Tip to scrub the gunk off the lens, and the picture quality is now pristine.

Fucking cab drivers... Almost took 500# of steel push bumper up his toyota... If I'd have been loaded - he'd be splattered all over the road. (I just caught sight of him starting to change lanes, he was below my hood)


And this one... Someone needs some tires... Wasn't that wet.

I tried to warn him but by the time I saw him it was way too late. He made a slight move to turn right and go under then he went straight. He almost made it but I'm sure he'll need some work on some air vents etc.
