This all really depends on what you plan on running and for how long. One large AGM might just work out for you. But if you're going off-grid for a while then you might want to convert to dual golf cart or something with greater capacity. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
As for the brake controller, what kind of truck?
The OEM brake controllers from Ford and GMC are so good, that if that's an option, just do that and don't fuck around with anything else. Aftermarket, you want Tekonsha Prodigy. Lots of cheaper ones, some are fine, but honestly, it's the least of your expenses in this hobby.

It's for an F150.
Dealer quoted me almost $500 for installation.
Ended up buying one from Rockauto for around $ 150 and will be installing it myself this weekend.
Worked out well since I already have a couple of Forscan tweaks planned, might as well add coding in the trailer brake controller.
I've been told adding the factory controller to the F150 isn't hard. Never done it.

Seems to be straight forward enough.
Just have to keep reminding myself to take my time to avoid breaking any panel clips.
Breaking them slowly isn't any less aggravating than doing it quickly. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm really good at breaking clips. I can break 90% or more of all clips I come in contact with. I'm a savant at that.

Have to replace a taillight assembly on the trailer and need to re-seal it after.
Is there a local place I can grab Geocel ProFlex RV Sealant? Any good alternatives?
Also, what's a good caulking gun?
Anyone selling a trailer this year? I'm looking at selling around end of July.

Demand will go down when everyone realizes there's no sites to be had.
Yeah you're probably going to want a lot of amp hours, especially if you're planning to run an inverter. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Looking around
Wondering what became
Of what I once knew
Bought ours for $12g, pretty sure it would go for $30g now, judging by the Kijiji ads. Hipsters love that shiny and chrome. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If Kijiji is accurate my 2018 GD imagine 2400bh is worth about what it cost new. Seems like insanity.
