    are AF1 fashionable?
I have my trusted AF1 for over 5 years now that I wear almost everyday to work, then I have 2 work shoes that I keep under my desk.

who cares what shoes I wear from/to work since it's only a 200m walk from the parkade to the office.

I wear my ugly waterproof brown leather Merrell's from the car to my buildling. Even with U/G parkade, there's still slush and shit everywhere, and salt and grime is a killer of leather. Also, if say I have a flat tire, I wouldn't want to be changing that in my nice shoes (BTW I do also keep a pair of army boots in my car for that very thing or in case I get stuck or have to help someone or have to go to the car wash, etc...).

Then I have a nice pair of shoes waiting for me at my desk. On top of that, I have a pair of older nice shoes that I don't wear regularly, that I will wear at lunch if I have to venture outside. Yup I have more shoes than my wife, I think.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

+1 for shoes at work. Salt is brutal for leather shoes, especially if it's also on the sole. Even in the summer I'd leave my nice shoes at work. I have a very expensive pair and I'm not baller enough to keep replacing them

Of course if you want something that'll still look good, maybe look at Merrell, Wind River, Red Wing. They're all good boots and aren't nearly as expensive as AE or HB. I mean these are winter outdoor shoes, why bother spend a pile of money. OP's call.

Could always put those cowboy boots to actual use lol.

Hugo Boss actually has some decent boots. They won't serve well for hiking, but for the odd trip outside in winter, they're great. Also, check out UGGs and Allen Edmonds (as mentioned). They have a good selection of boots for men that don't look like shit.

It really depends on how far you have to walk. If you have a long walk, who the fuck cares what you wear. But if it's a couple blocks, a pair of fashionable boots should serve you well.

If you're like me though, and get hot all the time in the office, I leave a pair of loafers at my desk in the winter so I can take off my boots.

Yeah, I run the blundstones, and they are very good in cool weather. Below about -20 they are a little thin, but that's managable.

the style of boot is called a chelsea boot, ankle high, elastic, etc., obviously each brand has their take on the chelsea boot and use different materials.

oh I know lol, but I still stand by my knock-off statement since they've been making that boot for about 140 years!

I got a pair of Dr Martins Milton, easy slip on

I do have some originals but they take too long to lace up when I just wanna get the fuck out of work.
